Doggett & Co. was read, regarding the condition of the ruins of the Mech Eng Lab.On Mr. Banks’ motion the following resolution was adopted by the Board:Jan 30 – 1894The Board of Trustees of Purdue University, being assembled in a called session of the Board in Lafayette Ind. Jan. 30, 1894, a majority of said Board being present unanimously adopted the following resolution:Resolved That Chas. B. Stuart of Lafayette Ind., President of the Board of Trustees of Purdue University, be and he is hereby constituted the attorney and agent of said Board for the purpose of making all proofs and all other necessary papers involved in the adjustment of insurance upon the recently destroyed Engineering Laboratory and its contents, and he is hereby authorized as such attorney and agent to receipt for and in behalf of the Board of Trustees of Purdue University for all insurance money that may be paid to said University on account of said insurance.At this meeting were present Messrs.
