They consist of four heifers and two bulls. One of the heifers was selected for Mr. Joseph Allen, who has an interest in both the bulls.- The cattle were purchased near Darlington, England, of three different breeders—are all beautiful roans except one, which is red, and are but distantly related so that the produce may be bred together for sometime to come. We also understand that arrangements have been made" by which' cattle may be ordered with the certainty of their being pure, if our citizens should desire cattle of the short-horn family during the coming summer; .-.•'. * ; '. _ A pair of pigs were also imported.
