STATED MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TRUSTEES OF PURDUE UNIVERSITY

I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees (the "Board") of The Trustees of Purdue University (the "Corporation") convened in stated meefing at 10:36 a.m., Friday, April 7, 2000, in Room 304, Purdue Memorial Union Building, West Lafayette campus, pursuant to the following Notice mailed to each member of the Board by the Secretary on March 6, 2000:
In accordance with the Bylaws, there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Tmstees of The Trustees of Purdue University convening at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 7, 2000, Anniversary Drawing Room, Purdue Memorial Union Building, West Lafayette campus.
Specific Agenda items will be posted and distributed subsequently in the manner required by law.
II. ROLL CALL, FRIDAY, APRIL 7, 2000.
Chairman McGinley called the meefing to order at 10:36 a.m. The following members of the Board were present as follows: Mrs. Edmondson, Ms. Teder, Messrs. Birck, Edwardson, Essex, Hardin, McGinley, Moreau, Powers and Townsend. Also present for all or part of the meeting were Dr. Beering, President of the University; Mr. Burns, Treasurer of the Corporation and Executive Vice President and Treasurer of the University; Board Secretary Pearson; Legal Counsel Benton; University Vice Presidents Almond, Bennett, Isom, Kjonaas, Robinson, Rollock, Sautter and Strueh; Chancellors Dworkin (North Central), Yackel (Calumet) and Wartell (Fort Wayne); Professor Stanley Hem, Chair, University Senate, Professor Linda Mason, Vice Chair, University Senate and Busch Voights, III, President, Purdue Student Government.
III. REVIEW OF FUTURE MEETING SCHEDULE, BOARD OF TRUSTEES.
Chairman McGinley drew attention to the listing of future meetings. He asked the Tmstees to mark these dates on their calendars and indicated that the 2001 meeting dates would be sent to them in the near future.
