November 21, 1921, in Eliza Fowler ixall. As President Oliver had not yet arrived, Vice-President Hobbs presided. Secretary Ellsworth called the roll and the following named nembers responded: Mr. F.F.Chandler, Mr. C.M.xtobbs, Mr. J.A.Hillenbrand, Mr. H.W.Marshall, Mrs. Meredith, Mr. J.W.Noel, Mr. D.K.Boss. ''^'^''-'-^Oc^/v Secretary Ellsworth read the minutes of the meeting of Oct- obar 12, 1921, which were approved as read. Mr. Marshall said that 11 A.M. was the time set for the open- te:^^?'^ ing of bids for the heating, plumbing and lighting of the Home ^"^¦^^ ^L**V /3tJ. J Economics Building. The bidders were admitted and Mr. Marshall opened and read the bids. During the reading of bids. President Oliver entered and took the chair. After all the bids had been opened and read, Mr. Noel moved that they be referred to Mr. Daggett, the architect, for tabulation. (See File A) Mr. Hobbs seconded the motion, which passed unanimously; and the architect and bidders withdrew. Mr. Marshall presented communications as follows: 1. A letter from M.B.Thunnan, internal revenue collect.r. regard- ^^^ ing the purchase of alcohol for the University, stating that the institution was now fully recognized as a State University, and would be permitted to withdraw alcohol free of tax.
