STATED MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TRUSTEES
OF PURDUE UNIVERSITY
Trustees' Room.   Executive Building I,    NOTICE OF MEETING.
April 24.   1969
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in stated meeting in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University at 9:05 am on Thursday.  April 24.   I969.  pursuant to the following notice mailed to each member of the Board by the Secretary on April 1.   I969:
In accordance with provisions of the Bylaws,  there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue Univer¬ sity convening in general session at approximately 7:45 pm CDT on Wednesday,  April 23,   1969,   in Room 326.   Purdue Memorial Center, and in general session at 9:00 am CDT on Thursday.  April 24,   I969, in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University,   in order to:
1, Consider and act upon the budgets for Auxiliary Enter¬
prises of the University for the year 1969-1970;
2, Consider and act upon other fiscal problems relating to
the budget;
3, Consider and act upon bids for the following construction
projects:
a. Roof Repairs - 1969
b. Service Annex - Roof Repair
c. Plant and Soils Building - Repair Coping
d. Purdue University Indianapolis Campus - Replace Roof of
Administration Building;
4, Consider and act upon any other matter or business which may
come before said meeting, .
Although the meeting had been scheduled to convene first on Wednesday evening.  April 23,   1969,   informal discussion following dinner that evening had continued until it was too late to convene the formal meeting.    April 23.   1969, Agenda items were considered first on Thursday.  April 24,   1969-

President Knoy called the meeting to order in general session at 9:06 am. All members of the Board were present as follows: Mrs.  White,   Messrs.   Brumfield, Graham,   Heine,   Hillenbrand,  Knoy,   Rumely,   Walb and Wilson.    Also present were President Hovde.   Vice President and Treasurer Freehafer.   University Vice Presidents Andrews,   Lawshe and Mallett,   Counsel Schilling,   Executive Assistant to the President Hicks,   Business Manager and Assistant Treasurer Finn,   University Attorney Lowe, Mr.  Hentschel,   Treasurer of Purdue Research Foundation,  Mr.   Smalley,  Director of University Residences and Purdue Memorial Union,   Mr.  Wade.
