I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees (the "Board") of The Trustees of Purdue University (the "Corporation") convened in stated meeting at 1:40 p.m., Friday, November 17, 1995, in Room 304, Purdue Memorial Union Building, West Lafayette Campus, pursuant to the following Notice mailed to each member of the Board by the Secretary on October 23, 1995:
In accordance with the Bylaws, there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convening at 1:30 p.m., Friday, November 17, 1995, Room 304, Purdue Memorial Union Building on the West Lafayette campus.
This is to give notice in accordance with the Bylaws of The Trustees of Purdue University that certain amendments to the Bylaws will be considered and acted upon.
Specific Agenda items will be posted and distributed subsequently in the manner required by law.
II. ROLL CALL, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 1995.
Chairman McGinley called the meeting to order at 1:40 p.m. The following members of the Board were present as follows: Dr. Ecker, Ms. Shropshire, Messrs. Essex, Hardin, Jesse, McGinley, Moreau, Taylor, and Townsend. Also present for all or part of the meeting were Dr. Beering-, President of the University; Dr. Ford, Treasurer of the Corporation and Executive Vice President and Treasurer of the University; Dr. Ringel, the University's Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs; Board Secretary Pearson; Legal Counsel Ryan; University Vice Presidents Bennett, Burns, Fruitt, Gappa, Henson, Huie, Kjonaas, Proenza, and Wise; Chancellors Alspaugh (North Central), Yackel (Calumet) and Wartell (Fort Wayne), Kevin Parsons, Student Body President, Purdue Student Government; Professor A. Charlene Sullivan, Chairperson University Senate and Professor Linda Duttlinger, Vice Chairperson, University Senate.
The absence of Trustee Edwardson was excused by consent of the Board.
