I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees (the "Board") of The Trustees of Purdue University (the "Corporation") convened in stated meeting at 1:40 p.m., Friday, March 22, 1991 in Room 304, Purdue Memorial Union Building, West Lafayette Campus, pursuant to the following Notice mailed to each member of the Board by the Secretary on February 18, 1991:
In accordance with the Bylaws, there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convening at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 1991 in Room 304 of the Purdue Memorial Union Building on the Purdue University West Lafayette Campus.
Specific Agenda items will be posted and distributed subsequently in the manner required by law.
II. ROLL CALL, FRIDAY, MARCH 22, 1991.
President Jesse called the meeting to order at 1:40 p.m. All members of the Board were present as follows: Dr. Ecker, Ms. Haber, Mrs. Ingle, Messrs. Anderson, Jesse, Kampen, McGinley, Stewart, Taylor and Townsend. Also present for all or part of the meeting were Dr. Beering, President of the University; Dr. Ford, Treasurer of the Corporation and Executive Vice President and Treasurer of the University; Dr. Ringel, the University's Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs; Board Secretary Pearson; Assistant Legal Counsel Bodle; University Vice Presidents Bennett, Burns, Fruitt, Grace, Greenkorn, and Lyon; Acting Vice President and Dean of the Graduate School Mullikin; Chancellors Alspaugh (North Central), Lantz (Fort Wayne) and Yackel (Calumet); Professor James Brewster, Faculty Representative to the Board and Chairperson, University Senate; Professor Charles Sutton, Vice Chairperson, University Senate, and Mr. Damon Auer, Student Body President, Purdue Student Government.
