I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees (the "Board") of The Trustees of Purdue University (the "Corporation") convened in stated meeting at 1:33 p.m., Saturday, December 16, 1989 in Room 304, Purdue Memorial Union Building, West Lafayette Campus, pursuant to the following Notice mailed to each member of the Board by the Secretary on November 28, 1989:
In accordance with the Bylaws, there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convening at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 1989 in Room 304 of the Purdue Memorial Union Building on the West Lafayette campus.
Specific Agenda items will be posted and distributed subsequently in the manner required by law.
II. ROLL CALL, SATURDAY, DECEMBER 16, 1989.
President Jesse called the meeting to order at 1:33 p.m. All members of the Board were present as follows: Dr. Ecker, Ms. Haber, Mrs. Ingle, Messrs. Anderson, Jesse, McGinley, Powers, Ringoen, Stewart and Townsend. Also present for all or part of the meeting were Dr. Beering, President of the University; Dr. Ford, Treasurer of the Corporation and Executive Vice President and Treasurer of the University; Dr. Tyler, the University's Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs; Board Secretary Pearson; Legal Counsel Bodle; University Vice Presidents Bennett, Burns, Fruitt, Grace, Huie, Lyon, and Wise; Chancellors Alspaugh (North Central), Combs (Calumet), and Lantz (Fort Wayne); George King, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics; Faculty Representative to the Board James Brewster, and Ryan Polk, Student Body President, Purdue Student Government.
