The Board of Trustees of Purdue University adjourned on May l6, 1922, to meet at 10 a,m,, Thursday, June 1, 1922, in Eliza Fowler Hall,
President Oliver presided, and Miss Mary M. Williams, Asst, Secy,, acted as secretary.
There were present:   Mr. Chandler,
Mr. Crane, aU.^    • Mr. Hillenbrand,
Mr. hobbs, Mr. Marshall, Mrs. Meredith, Mr. Noel, Mr. Oliver, Mr. Ross.
^^I       The minutes of the meeting of April 21, I922, were read, and on '"^'/'^  Mr. Chandler's motion, duly seconded, were approved, "^'"/n-^- The minutes of the meeting of May I6, 1922, were then read, and
on Mr, Chandler's motion, duly seconded, were also approved,
Mr. Marshall spoke of the death, on May 51. 1922, of Mr, William k^^   ^ "^^   Stuart, for many years a trustee of Purdue University, stating
I' ^cJtr""'  that the funeral would be held on Friday, June 2nd, at 4 p,m., and "^^'-'^-^   expressing the hope th.t members of the Board would remain and attend the funeral.  On motion of Mr. Marshall, approved by consent, the Board ordered flowers to be sent as a tritute of their regard for Mr. Stuart, the cost of which is to be borne personally by the Trustees.
,^^6._      Mrs. Meredith reported that the Special Committee on the Hous- gp^ ing Of Students, and also the Special Committee on the use of Ladies' 4:i:i^  Hall, had met and would report at a subsequent meeting.
