I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue Univer¬ sity convened in stated meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 1980, in the Trustees' Room of the Frederick L. Hovde Hall of Administration, pursuant to the following notice mailed to each member of the Board by the Secretary on October 23, 1980:
In accordance with the Bylaws, there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convening at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 1980 in the Trustees' Room of Hovde Hall in order to:
1. Consider and act upon bids for the fol¬ lowing construction project: Mechanical Engineering Rehabilitation - 1980;
2. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which may come before said meet¬ ing.
II. ROLL CALL, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 1980.
President Heine called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.  All members of the Board except one (Mrs. Rettinger) were present as follows:  Messrs. Cox, Dawson, Heine, Jesse, Kessler, Krieg, Powers, Roesner and Stewart.  Also present were President Hansen, Executive Vice President and Provost Haas, Executive Vice President and Treasurer Ford, University Vice Presidents Brown, Fischang, Greenkorn, Smalley, Wade and Wise, Executive Assistant to the President Hicks, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics King, Chancellors Combs (Calumet), Fuller (North Central), and Giusti (Fort Wayne), Administra¬ tive Dean for Regional Campuses Bergren, Chairperson of the University Senate Professor Charles Hicks, Student Represen¬ tative to the Board Samuel Wilson, Counsel Bodle and Secre¬ tary Pearson.  The absence of Trustee Rettinger was excused by consent of the Board.
