In accordance v/ith the provisions of the By-laws, the annual meeting of the Trustees of Pu;aiue University was held on llonday, June 11, 1928, the day preceding Gommencement Day, at 10:00 A. M., in Eliza Fov/ler Kail.
There v/ere present:
Mr. Edgerton
Mr. Hall
Mr. Hillenorand
LIr. Kimorough
Mr. Lilly
Mrs. Meredith
Mr. IJoel
Mr. Ross
liir. Simpson
President Ross presided and the Secretary acted as secretary.
President Elliott v/as not in attendance at the morning session, riaving gone to Greencastle, Indiana, to receive the honorary degree of Doctor of Lav/s from DePauw University. He returned ahout two o'clock and v/as present during the remainder of the session. Upon his arrival, President Elliott was warmly congratulated "by the members of the Board.
Controller Stewart sat with the Board during.the entire session.
The minutes of the meeting of April 11, 1928, were read, and after one correction were approved.

Mrs. Meredith presented the report of the meeting of the Special Com¬ mittee appointed to consider matters relating to residence halls for women, v/hich was held April 24, 1923.
Mr. Hall, of the Gormrdttee on Physical Plant and Equipment, met v/ith the Committee.
Sketches of the exterior of the proposed group of buildings were shown
