I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees (the "Board") of The Trustees of Purdue University (the "Corporation") convened in stated meeting at 9:10 a.m., Friday, September 13, 2002, in Room 326, Stewart Center, West Lafayette campus, pursuant to the following Notice mailed to each member of the Board by the Secretary on August 15,2002.
In accordance with the Bylaws, there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Tmstees of The Trustees of Purdue University convening at 9 a.m., Friday, September 13, 2002, in Room 326, Stewart Center, Purdue University West Lafayette campus.
Specific Agenda items will be posted and distributed subsequently in the manner required by law.
II. ROLL CALL, FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2002.
Vice Chairman Townsend called the meefing to order at 9:10 a.m. The following members of the Board were present as follows: Mrs. Dilger, Mrs. Edmondson, Messrs. Birck, Essex, Hardin, Moreau and Townsend. Also present for all or part of the meefing were Dr. Jischke, President of the University; Provost Mason; Mr. Burns, Treasurer of the Corporation and Executive Vice President and Treasurer of the University; Secretary Behringer; Legal Counsel Benton; Senior Vice President Blackwelder; University Vice Presidents Almond, Bennett, Isom, Kjonaas, Robinson, Rollock, and Sautter; Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Burke; Director of Strategic Planning Mukerjea; Chancellors Cohen (Calumet), Dworkin (North Central) and Wartell (Fort Wayne); Professor Terry Stewart, Chair, University Senate; Professor Peter Hamburger, Speaker of the Purdue Faculty at IPFW; Stephanie Wamer, Vice President, Purdue Student Govemment West Lafayette; and Marsha Buckingham, President, Student Govemment, Purdue University North Central. The absence of Tmstees Edwardson, McGinley and Powers was excused by consent of the Board.
