Adams (forgotten at last meeting) was handed the Secretary. Said appointment is for the term ending July 1 – 1911.The Board instructed the Sec’y [Secretary] to make duplicate warrant in favor of Dr Stone for $5.00, original lost.President Stone stated that the conditions governing the deposit of Purdue University funds now in the hands of the National Fowler Bank, made it impossible to procure the necessary apparatus and supplies for the opening of school September next, also that he had laid the matter before the State Finance Committee in a letter recently written and to which no reply had yet been received. The Board decided that should a favorable reply not be given then Prest [President] Harris & Dr Stone are to have an interview with said Finance Committee regarding the matter.Pres’t Stone presented the following written communications.1st.
