The President' s Calendar
Revision of 1952/33 budget necessary.
Eliza Fowler Hall Friday,  August 26,   1932
In accordance with action taken at the meeting of June 13,  1932,   and
pursuant to  the  following notice, mailed by   the  Secretary to  each member of
the Board  of Trustees on August 19,   the Board of Trustees met  in special
session at 9:50 A. M.,  Friday,  August 26,   1932,   in Eliza Fowler Hall:
"I an instructed by President Elliott to   send  this formal notice:     That in  accordance v/ith action taken at  the June meeting, there will    be a  called meeting of the Board of Trustees in Eliza Fowler Hall  at 9:30 A.  M.,   Friday August 26,  1932."
There were present:    Mrs. Meredith, Messrs Edgerton,  Hall,  Hillenbrand, Lilly, Noel,   Simpson,  President Ross and the President of the University.
President Elliott stated that Mr. Kimbrough had on Thursday evening ad¬ vised him by telephone that   important business matters v;ould prevent him from attending the meeting.
Controller Stewart  sat with   the Board throughout the  session.
President  Ross presided and the  Secretary acted as   secretary.
The Secretary presented a   communication  from President Elliott,   express¬ ing for himself and for his father and brothers,   their gratitude for the words of sympathy and the beautiful flowers received from the Trustees at  the time of his mother's funeral.
h.   MINUTES.
The minutes of the annual meeting held June 13,  1932 were read and ap¬ proved.
II.     THE PRESIDENT'S C.^lLENDAR.
The Board proceeded at once to  consideration of the President's Calendar.
President Elliott  stated  that  the action taken by   the special  session of the Legislature in reducing  the appropriations made necessary a meeting of the Board of Trustees,  that   the Executive & Finance Committee had met Thursday afternoon and that   their recommendations were presented  in the President's Calendar.
