I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
April 15, 1956
The stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Trustees of Purdue University was held on the 15th day of April, 1936 in accordance with the by¬ laws and in response to the following notice mailed by the Secretary to each member of the Board on April 1, 1936:
"In accordance with the provisions of the By-Laws, there will be a stated meeting of the Board ef Tmstees at 9:30 A. M,, WecJnes- day, April 15, 1936, in Eliza Fowler Hall.
The budget for the fiscal year 1936-57 will be presented for consideration, as well as other matters of importance, and it is hpped that all members pf the Bpard can be present."
The fpllowing notice was mailed by the Secretary to each member of the
Executive and Finance Committee on April 1, 1936:
"President Elliott instructs me to notify you that the Exe¬ cutive and Finance Committee is called to meet in the Trustees' Room on Tuesday, April 14, at 2:00 P. M. for the consideration of the budget."
II. ROLL CALL.
The meeting was called to order at 9:30 A. M. by President David E. Ross, and on roll call the following answered present; Mrs. Meredith, Messrs. Edgerton, Hall, Hillenbrand, Kimbrough, Lilly, Noel, Ross, and Simp¬ son,
Dr. Edward C. Elliott, President of the University, and Frank C, Hocke¬ ma, Secretary of the Board, were also present,
A quorum was present.
President Ross presided, and the Secretary acted as secretary,
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES,
