if.    NOTICE OF ;ffi;ETING.
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in
the Trustees Room in Eliza Fowler Hall at 9:50 A. M., Wednesday, Octobpr 21,
1956, pursuant to the call of the President and the following notice which had
been sent to each member of the Board on October 15, 1956:
"In accordance with the provisions of the By-laws, there will be a stated meeting of tVie Board of Trustees of The Trustees ef Purdue University in Eliza Fowler Hall at 9:50 A. M., Wednes¬ day, October 21, 1956.''
II. ROLL CALL.
The meeting was called to order by David E. Ross, President of the Board, and on roll call, the following answered present: Messrs. P. F. Edgerton, J. E. Hall, J. A. Hillenbrand, J. W. Noel, D. E. Ross, and R. A. Simpson.
Dr. Edward C. Elliott, Pi-esldent of Purdue University, and Frank G. Hockema, Secretary of the Board, were also present.
The following were absent: Messrs. J. L. Kimbrough and J. K. Lilly and Mrs. Virginia C. Meredith.
A quorim was present.
Mr. David E. Ross presided, and the Secretary'' acted as secretary.
III. APPFOVAL OF MINUTES.
The Secretary presented to the meeting minutes of the special meeting held September 25, 1956, mimeographed copies of which minutes had heretofore heen sent to and been approved in writing by each trustee.
Thereupon, on motion of Mr. Noel, seconded by T-'r. Hall, and d'.ay car¬ ried, it vfas ordered that the minutes of said meeting as presented and as heretofore approved in writing individually by each trustee be adopted and confirmed.
IV. PLAN OF PROCEDUFJ: for APPROVING MINUTES OF FUTURE MEETINGS OF THE
