MEETING OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TRUSTEES OF PURDUE UNIVERSITY

A. NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened at 2:10 pm on Wednesday,   August 12,   1970, at Jawacdah Farms,   Batesville,   Indiana,   pursuant to the following notice from the Secretary on July 17,   1970:
President Knoy asked me to notify you that there will be a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees convening at approximately 10:00 am EDT on Wednesday,   August 12,   1970,   at Jawacdah Farms,   Batesville,   Indiana,   in order to:
1. Consider and act upon bids for the following construction
projects:
a. Campus Parking Lots  -  1970
b. Ross-Ade ni - Site Work
c. Parking - Transportation Service;
2. Consider and act upon a request for grant of easement
along Kalberer Road to the Tippecanoe County Commissioners;
3. Consider and act upon proposals concerning relation¬
ships with Purdue Student Publishing Foundation;
4. Consider and act upon any other matter or business
which may come before said meeting.
B. ROLL CALL.
President Knoy,   Chairman of the Executive Committee,   called the meeting to order at 2:10 pm.    All members of the Executive Committee were present as follows: President Knoy,   Mr.   Brumfield and Vice President Wilson.    Also present were the following Trustees: Mrs.   Myers,   Messrs. Graham,   Heine,   Hillenbrand,   Rumely and Walb,   as well as President Hovde, Vice President and Treasurer Freehafer,   University Vice Presidents Andrews, Counsel Schilling,   Executive Assistant to the President Hicks,   Deans Stone and Roberts,   Mr.  Smalley,   Director of University Residences and Purdue Memorial Union,   Mr.  Hentschel,   Treasurer of Purdue Research Foundation, and Secretary Skinner.    Present for part of the meeting was Dr.  E.   L.   Butz, Vice President of Purdue Research Foundation.
