STATED MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TRUSTEES OF
PURDUE UNIVERSITY
Room 326, Purdue Memorial Center Trustees' Room, Executive Building
November 3-4, 1970
I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in stated meeting at 8:04 pm on Tuesday, November 3, 1970, in Room 326, Purdue Memorial Center, pursuant to the following notice mailed to each member of the Board by the Secretary on October 12, 1970:
In accordance with the Bylaws, and pursuant to action by the Board of Trustees on April 30, 1970, there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convening at approximately 7:45 pm EST on .Tuesday, November 3, 1970, in Room 326, Purdue Memorial Center, and at 9:30 am EST on Wednesday, November 4, 1970, in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University, in order to:
1. Consider and act .upon bids for the following construction projects:
a. Indiana-Purdue, Regional Campus at Fort Wa-yne - Utilities
and Campus Services - Cooling Plant and Utility Lines,
b. Indiana-Purdue Regional Campus at Fort Wayne -
Education Building Remodeling - 1970B;
2. Consider and act upon any other matter or business -which
may come before said meeting.
At 2:00 pm on Tuesday afternoon, Trustees, their spouses and University officers toured the following new buildings on the Lafayette Campus: Eleanor B. Shreve Residence Hall, Administrative Services Building, and Physics Building Addition II. At 5:45 pm, Trustees, their spouses, and President and Mrs. Hovde were guests at a reception and dinner with members of Student Union Board in Purdue Memorial Union. Just prior to the time the meeting convened. University and DEBRIS photographers photographed the 1970-1971 Board in Room 326, Purdue Memorial Center.
