STATED MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TRUSTEES OF
PURDUE UNIVERSITY
Room 326, Purdue Memorial Center Trustees' Roonn, Executive Building
I, NOTICE OF MEETING.
November 5, 1968 November 6, 1968
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in stated meeting in Room 326, Purdue Memorial Center, at 7:40 pm on Tuesday, November 5, 1968, pursuant to the following notice mailed to each member of the Board by the Secretary on October 16, 1968:
In accordance with provisions of the Bylaws there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convening in Executive Session at approximately 7:45 pm CDT on Tuesday, November 5, 1968, in Room 326, Purdue Memorial Center, and in regular session at 9:00 am CDT on Wednesday, November 6, 1968, inthe Trustees' Room ofthe Executive Building of the. University, in order to:
1, Consider and act upon bids for construction of the following
projects:
a. Access Road
b. Service Road to Swine Units
c Growing and Finishing Facility "A3"
d. Water Mains and Pump House
e. P. U. Calumet Campus - Ramp for Physically Handicapped;
2. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which may
come before said meeting.
II. ROLL CALL, EXECUTIVE SESSION, NOVEMBER 5, 1968.
President Knoy called the meeting to order in Executive Session at 7:40 pm. All members of the Board were present as follows: Mrs. White, Messrs. Brumfield, Graham, Heine, Hillenbrand, Knoy, Rumely, Walb and Wilson. Also present were President Hovde, Vice President and Treasurer Freehafer, University Vice Presidents Andrews, Hawkins, Lawshe and Mallett, Mr. John Bodle, substituting for Counsel Schilling (absent be¬ cause of serious illness). Executive Assistant to the President Hicks, Business Manager and Assistant Treasurer Finn, University Attorney Lowe, Mr. Hentschel, Treasurer of Purdue Research Foundation, Messrs, Drayer, Schaller, Smalley and Wade of the University staff, Assistant Morris and Secretary Skinner.
Vice President Mallett introduced three students as follows: Miss Lorraine LaFerriere, Student Senator, Mr. Mark Munsell, President of Student Body, and Mr. Stephen Schnautz, Student Senator. President Hovde introduced the Trustees, officers and University staff nnembers.
