L NOTICE OF MEETING. ' '
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in stated meeting in Room 326, Purdue Memorial Center, at 7:41 pm on Tuesday, January 14, I969, pursuant to the following notice mailed to each member of the Board by the Secretary on December 20, I968:
In accordance with provisions of the Bylaws there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convening in Executive Session at approximately 7:45 pm CDT on Tuesday, January 14, 1969, in Room 326, Purdue Memorial Center, and in regular session at 9:00 am CDT on Wednesday, January 15, I969, in the Trustees' Roonn of the Executive Building of the University, in order to:
1. Consider and act upon bids for construction of the following projects -
a. Administrative Services Building
b. Mathematical Sciences Building - Water Chiller c Replacement of Water Mains - I969A
d. Phase I - Electrical Engineering Technology Building,
P. U. Calunnet Campus
e. Parking Garage - Third and Waldron Streets (RAF)
f. Additions to the Ross-Ade Stadium Facilities - I969 (RAF);
2. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which may
come before said meeting.
At 4:00 pm on Tuesday, January 14, I969, Trustees, their wives, and University officers had toured the Physics Building Accelerator Facility, the new Heating Plant, and Graduate House West, ending the tour with dinner in Graduate House West.
II. ROLL CALL. JANUARY 14, I969.
President Knoy called the meeting to order in Executive Session at 7:41 pm. All members ofthe Board were present as follows: Mrs. White, Messrs. Brumfield, Graham, Heine, Hillenbrand, Knoy, Rumely, Walb, and Wilson. Also present were President Hovde, Vice President and Treasurer Freehafer, Univer¬ sity Vice Presidents Andrews, Hawkins, Lawshe and Mallett, Counsel Bodle (substi¬ tuting for Counsel Schilling who was recovering from serious illness). Executive Assistant to the President Hicks, Business Manager and Assistant Treasurer Finn, University Attorney Lowe, Mr. Hentschel, Treasurer of Purdue Research Founda¬ tion, University staff members Schaller, Smalley and Wade, Assistant Mcr ris and Secretary Skinner.
