I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in stated meeting in Room 326,   Purdue Memorial Center,   at 7:45 pm on Tuesday,  April 19,   1966,  pursuant to action of the Board of Trustees on January 18-19,   1966,   and further pursuant to the following notice mailed to each nnember of the Board by the Secretary on March 29, 1966:
In accordance with provisions of the Bylaws and pursuant to action of the Board of Trustees on January 18-19,   1966,  there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University on Tuesday,  April 19,   1966,   convening at approximately 7:45 pm CDT (immediately following dinner) in Room 326,   Purdue Memorial Center,  and on Wednesday,  April 20,   1966,   convening at 9:00 am CDT in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University in order to:
1. Consider and act upon the budgets of the University,  the
Agricultural Experiment Station, the Cooperative Ex¬ tension Service,   and the Self-Supporting Enterprises for the year 1966-1967;
2. Consider and act upon any other fiscal problems related
to the budget;
3. Consider and act upon bids for the following projects:

a. Replace Steam Line - Cary Lane, to Stadium
b. Agricultural Engineering Building - Roof Repairs - 1966
c. Agricultural Hall - Re-roofing - 1966
d. Entomology Environmental Laboratory - Rehabilitate
Greenhouse
e. Married Student Courts III - 1966;
4. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which
may come before said meeting.
II. ROLL CALL.
President Thompson called the meeting to order at 7:45 pm.    All members of the Board were present as follows: Mrs.   White, Messrs. Brumfield,  Hanley,  Kettler,  Knoy,  Rumely,   Thompson,  Wickard and Wilson.    Also present were President Hovde,  Vice President and Treasurer Freehafer,  University Vice Presidents Andrews,  Chenea and Mallett,   Business Manager and Assistant Treasurer Finn,   Executive Assistant to the President Hicks (who arrived at 8:00 pm),  Messrs.   Brown, Dawson,  HuUinger,   Schaller and Topping of the University staff, Mr.  Robert Kriebel of the Lafayette Journal and Courier,  Assistant Morris and Secretary Skinner.
Mr.   Finn introduced Mr.   Kriebel who has replaced Mr.   Frank Arganbright as the Lafayette Journal and Courier reporter who will cover the Trustees' meetings.
