STATED MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TRUSTEES OF
PURDUE UNIVERSITY
Executive Building April 18, 1962
I, NOTICE OF MEETING. , .
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in stated meeting in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of Purdue Uni¬ versity at 9i32 a.m, on Wednesday, April 18, 1962, pursuant to action of the Board of Trustees on March 21, 1962, and further pursuant to the following notice sent to each member of the Board by the Secretary on March 26, 1962:
In accordance with provisions of the By-Laws and pursuant to action of the Board of Trustees on March 21, 1962, there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University on Wednesday, April 18, 1962, convening at 9:30 a.m. CDT in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University, in order to:
1.. Consider and act upon bids for Remodeling of Electrical Engineering Building Lecture Room;
2. Consider and act upon the budgets of the University, the
Agricultural Experiment Station, the Agricultural Extension Service, and the Self-Supporting Enterprises for the year 1962-1963;
3. Consider and act upon any other fiscal problems related to
the budget;
4. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which
may come before said meeting.
II. ROLL CALL.
President Hanley called the meeting to order at 9:32 a.m. All members of the Board except one were present as follows: Mrs. Vogler, Messrs. Creighton, Hanley, Kettler, Rumely, Schenck, Thompson and Wilson. The absence of Mr, Branigin was excused by consent of the Board. Also present were President Hovde, Vice President and Treasurer Freehafer, Vice Presidents Chenea and Mallett, Executive Assistant to the President Hicks, Counsel Schilling, Purdue Research Foundation Vice President Powers, Assistant Treasurer Finn, Legal Assistant Lowe, Architects Scholer, Sr., and Scholer, Jr., Director of Development Planning Abbett, Assistant Morris and Secretary Skinner, Also in attendance were Mr. T. R. Johnston, Bureau of Information, and Mr. Frank Arganbright of the Lafayette Journal and Courier.
