L    NOTICE OF MEETING
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University con¬ vened in special meeting in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University at 10:30 am on Wednesday,  June 30.   1965.  pursuant to the following notice sent to each Trustee by the Secretary on May 24,   1965;
President Thompson has asked me to notify you that there will be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convening at 10:30 am CDT on Wednesday, June 30,   1965, in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University in order to;
1. Consider and act upon bids for the following construction projects:
a. The Basketball Arena for Purdue University (Ross-Ade
Foundation)
b. Resurfacing Runway 10-28,  Purdue University Airport -
1965 c    Gravel Parking Lot - Purdue University Calumet Regional Campus;
2. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which may
come before said meeting.
U.    ROLL CALL.
President Thompson called the meeting to order at 10:30 am.    All members of the Board of Trustees except four were present as follows: Messrs.  Brumfield,  Dicken.  Thompson, Wickard and Wilson.    The ab¬ sences of Mrs.  White and Messrs.   DeLaurier,  Hanley and Kettler were excused by consent of the Board.    Also present were President Hovde, Vice President and Treasurer Freehafer,  University Vice Presidents Andrews,   Chenea and Mallett,   Counsel SchUling,  University Attorney Lowe,  Assistant Morris, University staff members Ahlers,  Gillespie, Jobusch,  Mackey,  Rankin,  Topping and Wade,  and Secretary Skinner.
m.   ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES OF BID OPENING MEETING HELD JUNE 23,  1965.
Treasurer Freehafer presented minutes of the meeting of Uni¬ versity officers and staff to open bids for construction projects held June 23', 1965,  as follows:
