ij. NOTICE QF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of the Trustees of Purdue University met in Eliza
Fowler Hall at 9:50 A. M. Wednesday October 17, 1954, in accordance with the
bylaws and in response to the following notice, mailed by the Secretary to
each member of the Board on October 5, 1954:
"In accordance with the provisions of the bylaws, the Board of Trustees will meet in Eliza Fowler Hall at 9:50 A. M. Wednesday, October 17, 1954".
II. ROLLCALL.
There were present: Mrs. Meredith, Messrs Edgerton, Hall, Hillen¬ brand, Kimbrough, Lilly, Simpson, President Ross and the President of the University,
President Elliott stated that Mr, Noel had met with the Executive Com¬ mittee and the State Budget Committee on Tuesday October 16, but had been obliged to return to Indianapolis.
President Ross presided and the Secretary acted as secretaiy.
Controller Stewart entered about 11:00 A. M. and sat with the Board during the remainder of the session.
President Elliott announced that arrangements had been made for luncheon at the Women's Residence Hall and that the Trustees would inspect the build¬ ing while there.
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES.
The minutes of the called meeting held August 8, 1954 were read and approved.
IV. THE PRESIDENT'S CALENDAR.
The Board proceeded to consideration of the President's Calendar.
