STATED MEETING^OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TRUSTEES
OF PURDUE UNIVERSITY
Executive Building January 16-17, 1963
I, NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in stated meeting in the Trustees' Room of the Executive BuUding of the Uni¬ versity at 9:40 a.m. on Wednesday, January I6, 1963, pursuant to action of the Board of Trustees on October 24, 1962, and further pursuant to the fol¬ lowing notice sent to each member of the Board by the Secretary on-December 21, 1962:
In accordance with provisions of the By-Laws and pursuant to action of the Board of Trustees on October 24, 1962, there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue Uni¬ versity on Wednesday, January 16, 1963, convening at 9:30 a.m. CDT in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University in order to;
1. Consider and act upon bids for the foUowing projects:
a. Construction and Alterations of Research Laboratories,
Lilly HaU of Life Sciences - 1962
b. Union Club Alterations - 1963 A, Purdue Memorial Union
Building
c. Remodeling of Main Switchgear, Electrical Engineering
BuUding
d. Relighting and Rewiring, Academic BuUdings, 1963.
2. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which may
come before said meeting.
IL ROLL GALL.
President Hanley called the meeting to order at 9:40 a.m. All members of the Board except one were present as follows: Mrs. Vogler, Messrs. Dicken, Hanley, Kettler, Rumely, Schenck, Thompson and Wilson. The absence of Mr. DeLaurier was excused by consent of the Board. Also present were President Hovde, Vice President and Treasurer Freehafer, University Vice Presidents Mallett and Young, Counsel SchiUing, Executive Assistant to the President Hicks, Business Manager and Assistant Treasvirer Finn, Legal Assistant Lowe, Assistant Morris and Secretary Skinner. The following were also in attendance: staff members Andrews, Mather, Johnston, Gillespie, Abbett and Wade, and Mr. Gus Lumpe of the Lafayette Journal and Courier.
