Trustees' Room, Executive Building October 20-21, 1964
I. NOTICE OF MEETING,
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in Executive Session of its stated annual meeting in Room 326, FHardue Memorial Center of Purdue University at 8:07 pm on Tuesday, October 20, 1964, pursuant to action of the Board on January 15, 1964, and further pursuant to the following notice sent to each Trustee by the Secretary on September 30, 1964:
In accordance with the provisions of the By-Laws, and pursuant to action of the Board of Trustees on January 15, 1964, there will be a stated annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convening in executive session immediately following dinner (approximately 8:00 pm CDT) on Tuesday, October 20, 1964, in Room 326, Purdue Memorial Center, and in regular session at 9:00 am CDT on Wednesday, October 21, 1964, in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University, in order to:
1. Consider and act upon bids for the following construction
projects:
a. Chemistry Building - Construction of Offices in
Attic - 1964
b. Coal Bunker Repairs - Heating and Power Plant,
North - 1964
c. Physics Building - Remodeling of Synchrotron Area
d. Remodeling of Wood and Shealy Halls - 1964
e. Extension of Third Street - 1964;
2. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which
may come before said meeting.
II. ROLL CALL.
President Hanley called the meeting to order at 8:07 pm. All members of the Board of Trustees except one were present as follows: Mrs.'White, Messrs. Brumfield, Dicken, Hanley, Kettler, Thompson, Wickard and Wilson. The absence of Mr. DeLaurier was>excused by consent of the Board. Also present were President Hovde, Vice President and Treasurer Freehafer, University Vice Presidents Andrews, Chenea, and Mallett, Counsel Schilling, Executive Assistant to the President Hicks,
