SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TRUSTEES OF
PURDUE UNIVERSITY
Room 326, Purdue Memorial Center Trustees' Room, Executive Building
I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
September 14-15, 1965
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of iPurdue University convened in special meeting in Room 326, Purdue Memorial Center, at 7:55 pm on Tuesday, September 14, 1965, pursuant to action of the Board of Trustees on June 30, 1965, and further pursuant to the following notice sent to each member of the Board by the Secretary on August 25, 1965;
Pursuant to action of the Board of Trustees on June 30, 1965, there will be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University on Tuesday, September 14, 1965. converung at approximately 8:00 pm CDT (immediately following dinner) in Room 326, Purdue Memorial Center, and on Wednesday, September 15. 1965. con¬ vening at 9:00 am CDT in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University, in order to:
1. Consider and act upon proposed amendments to the Bylaws
of The Trustees of Purdue University;
2. Consider and act upon bids for the following construction
projects:
a. Pumping Station No. 5 and Water Mains - 1965
Part 1 - Wells and iPumps
b. Pumping Station No. 5 and Water Mains - 1965
Part 2 - Water Mains c Pumping Station No. 5 and Water Mains - 1965 Part 3 - Well House
d. Chemistry Building - Air Condition Rooms 109, HO, llOA,
HOB, 185
e. Chemistry Building - Neutron Generator Vault;
3. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which may
come before said meeting.
n. ROLL CALL.
President Thompson called the meeting to order at 7:55 pm (immediately following dinner). All members of the Board except one were present as follows: Mrs. White. Messrs. Brumfield. Hardey, Knoy, Rumely, Thompson, Wickard and Wilson. (Mr. Kettler arrived later. ) Also present were President Hovde, Vice President and Treasurer Freehafer, University Vice Presidents Andrews, Chenea and Mallett. Counsel Schilling. Business Manager and Assistant Treasurer Finn. University Attorney Lowe, staff members Dawson and Gillespie, Assistant Morris and Secretary Skinner.
