Approval of Min¬ utes, October 18, 1933,
Standing Committed Reappointed
The Board of Trustees met at 9:30 A. M. on January 17th, 1954, in
Eliza Fowler Hall, in accordance with the provisions of the By-Laws and
pursuant to the following notice mailed by the Secretary to each member of
the Board on January 5, 1934:
"In accordance with the provisions of the By-Laws, there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of Purdue University at 9:50 A. M., Wednesday, January 17, 1954, in Eliza Fowler Hall."
There were present: Mrs. Meredith, Messrs Edgerton, Hall, Hillen¬ brand, Kimbrough, Noel, Simpson, President Ross and the President of the University.
President Ross presided and the Secretaiy acted as secretaiy.
Controller Stewart was present during most of the session.
President Elliott announced that the President of the University and Mrs. Elliott would entertain the members of the Board at luncheon at 12:30,

The minutes of the stated meeting held October 18, 1935 were read and approved.
II. RE-APPOINTMENT QF STAI^'DING COMMITTEES.
President Ross announced the re-appointment of the standing committees of the Board as follows: ,
Executive & Finance Committee: Messrs Ross, Noel sind Simpson.
Committee on Physical Plant & Equipment: Messrs Hillenbrand, Kim¬ brough and Hall.
By consent the Board approved the appointments.
