719 STATED MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TRUSTEES
OF PURDUE UNIVERSITY

I. NOTICE OF MEETING,
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in stated meeting in Room 326, Purdue Memorial Center, at 8:55 pm on Tuesday. November 9, 1965. pursuant to the following notice sent to each member of the Board by the Secretary on October 20, 1965:
In accordance with provisions of the By-Laws (as amended on September 14-15. 1965). there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University on Tuesday, November 9, 1965. convening at approximately 8:00 pm CDT (immediately following dinner) in Room 326. Purdue Memorial Center, and oh Wednesday. November 10,. 1965. convening at 9:00 am CDT in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University, in order to:
1. Elect officers of the Board for the 1965-1967 biennium;
2. Consider and act upon bids for the following projects:
a. Michael Golden Laboratory - Remodel Room 101
b. Remodeling of Stanley Coulter Annex, North
c. Remodeling of Civil Engineering Building
d. Academic Buildings - Relighting and Rewiring - 1965;
3. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which
may come before said meeting.

Immediately following dinner, Mr. L. Senesh, Professor of Economic Education, described in lively and interesting fashion his research in the teaching of economics to elementary school children,

President Thompson called the meeting to order at 8:55 pm. All members of the Board were present as follows: Mrs. White, Messrs. Brumfield. Hanley. Kettler. Knoy. Rumely. Thompson. Wickard and Wilson. Also present were President Hovde. Vice President and Treasurer Freehafer, University Vice Presidents Andrews, Chenea and Mallett, Business Manager and Assistant Treasurer Finn. Executive Assistant to the President Hicks. University Attorney Lowe. Messrs. Schaller. Smalley and Topping of the University staff, Mr. Frank Arganbright of the Lafayette Journal and Courier, Assistant Morris and Secretary Skinner.
