Ll NOTICE oy MEETING
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in the Executive Building, on the campus of Purdue University, Lafayette, Indi¬ ana, Saturday, June 11, 1938, at 9:30 A.M., pursuant to the following notice which had been sent to each member of the Board by the Secretary on May 21, 1928:
In accordance with the provisions of the By-Laws, the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University will be held in the Executive Building at 9:30 A.M., Saturday, June 11, 1938> the day preceding Com¬ mencement Day.
It is hoped that, all members of the. Board can be present in order (l) to receive, open, consider., and act upon bids for generating equipment, for the .remodeling of the swimming pool and plumbing in the Memorial Gymnasium, and for the re¬ modeling of that part of -the Engineering. Administration Build¬ ing which has been used as the women's gymnasium in order to provide additional chemical laboratory facilities and class¬ rooms; and.(2) to consider and act upon any other matter or business -that may come before said meeting.
II. ROLL CALL.
The following Trustees were present: Miss McHale, Messrs. Edgerton, Hall, Hillenbrand, Lilly, Noel, Ross, Simpson, and Wheeler, being a full attendance.
Dr. Edward 0. Elliott, President of the University, R. B. Stewart, Con¬ troller of the University, and Frank C. Hockema, Secretary of the Board, were also present.
III. APPROVAL OF iillNUTES. .
The Secretary presented to the Board in session the minutes of the meeting of April 20, 1938, and reported that the miimeographed copies of said minutes had heretofore been sent to each Trustee.and that no objection had been made by any Trustee.
