]: The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in
:; the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building on thr- campus of Pur>lue Uidver-
¦ sity, Lafayette, Indiana, Thursday, November 10, 1955, at 9:45 A. M., pursuant
i to the following notice which had been sf^nt to each raember of the Board by the
i Secretary on October 23, 195-8:
President Ross has instructed me to notify you that there -.dll j     be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University at 9:45 A. M., Thursday, November 10, 1953, .in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building, located or the c-'mpus of Purdue University, Lafayette, Indiana.
This meeting is called in order to:
1. Receive, open, consider, and act upon bids foi^ the (a) . general construction, (b) plumbing, (c) heating and ventilat¬ ing, (d) electric v.dring and light fixtures, or (e) combina- • tions of any two or more classifications (a), (b), (c), and (d) pertaining to the construction of a Residence Hall for Men (South).
2. Consider and act upon ^.-ny and all matters pertainir.g to the construction and financing of the proposed Reddence Mall for Men (South) and other projects in the University's build¬ ing progr'im.
3. Consider and act upon any other matter or business that ir.-iy come before said meeting.
II.  ROLL CiXL.
The meeting was called to order at 9:45 A. M. by President Ross. Cn roll call the following Trustees ans\-.-ered present;  Messrs. Edgerton-, iiall, Hillenbrand, Noel, Ross, Simpson, Stun.a, and V.Tveeler, being the majority and quorum of the Board. The following Trustee was absent:  Miss McH-^le.
The Secretary reported that Miss McHale was not able to attend becrmse of urgent business elsewhere.
After discussion, and upon motion of Mr. N'oel, seconded by Mr. hall, and unanimously carried. Miss McHale's excuse for absence vras approved.
