ii NOTICE OF MEETING. .
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in
the Execative Building on the campus ol Purdue University, Lafayette, Indiana,
Friday, August 19, 1958, at 9:20 A.M., pursuant to tlie following notice which
had been sent to each member of the Board by the Secretaiy- on August 8, 1933:
President Ross has instructed me to notify you that the special raeeting of the Board of Trustees convened July 22, 1958, at 10:00 A,M,, and adjourned subject to call of the President, will be reconvened pursuant to call of the President and in adjourned session at 9:20 A,M,, Friday, August 19, 1958, in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building located on the campus of Purdue Univerisity, Lafayette, Indiana,
President Ross has further instructed me to notify you that tihe special meeting of the Board of Trustees convened July 22, 1958, at 11:00 A,M,, and adjourned subject to call of the President,-will be reconvened pursuant to the call of the President and in adjourned session at 9:26 A,M,, Friday, August 19, 1958, in the Trustiees' Room of the Executive ouild¬ ing located on the campus of Purdue University, Lafayette, Indiana,
II. ROLL CALL,
The meeting was called to order at 9:20 A,M. hy President Ross, On roll call, the following Trustees answered present: Miss McHale, Messrs. Edger¬ ton, Hall, Hillenbrand, Noel, Ross, Simpson, and Yiheeler, being the majority and quorum of the Board.
Dr. Edward C, Elliott, President of tlie University, and R. B, Stewart, Controller of the University, were also present.
The following Trustees were absent: Mr. Lilly.
The President reported that Mr. Lilly was,not able to attend because of urgent business elsewhere. After discussion, and on raotion of Mr. Noel, sec¬ onded by Mr. Hall, and unaniraously carried, Mr. Lilly's excuse for absence was approved,
