4 17. ^_ SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF PURDUE UNIVERSITY. Indianapolis, Indiana. February 5, 1922, Pursuant to call by President Oliver, the Board of Trustees met in Parlor F, of the Claypool Hotel at Indianapolis, at eleven o'clock A,M,, this day. All members of the Board were present as follows: Mr. Joseph D. Oliver, Mr. CM.Hobbs, /W ^ ./J Mr. Perry Crane, '^ '^^'"^ Mr. James W. Noel, Mr, John Hillenbrand, Mr, David E. Ross, Mr. F. F. Chandler, Mr. Henry W. Marshall, Mrs. Virginia C. Meredith. Upon motion by Mr. Hillenbrand, Mr. Ross was elected Secretary ^^Tem of the meeting. t_e Mr. Marshall presented the request and affidavit of Arthur Goss, W^ .y""^ Of the class of 1894. requesting that a duplicate Diploma be issued to him. Upon motion by Mr. Noel, seconded by Mr. Hillenbrand, auth¬ ority was granted for the Issuance of the Diploma. ^ „ A communication from Dean A. A.Potter, which was transmitted 1^^. f^.=t through the Acting President, recommending that those out of tne ?w!;i! State of Indiana enrolling in the Telephone Short Course or the Meter Men's Short Course, be charged a fee of $25-00. and the fees turned over to the Treasury of the University. Upon motion by Mr. Hillenbrand, seconded by Mr. Chandler, the recommendation of Dean Potter was approved, and the charge of $25.00 for the non-residents of the State, in each of the Short Courses named, *as authorized.
