M?rTCTING OE_._THE BOARD ..OF.TRUSTEES QI-JPURDUE UNIVERSITY.^-,-.jJurie_-XQ^JL919-Jlli„Q0 a,i At ELIZA FOWLER HAIi, LAFAYETTE, INDIANA.
jl Present: Messrs. Breaks, Chandler, Hillenbrand, Hobbs,
/¦U-^X-v^-o-j^J^ Isenbarger, Noel, Oliver, Reynolds and Stuart. An evening session
was also held at the Fowler Hotel at 8:00 p.m. All members were present. 7Vi;.,,^,.,jc5i4'^-u.^X-:; The minutes of April loth and of May 9th and 10th, 1919
' ' were read and approved.
The Board then proceeded to vote for officers for the is!i^-*3tsi.,-^A ^^If^'""'-^ ensuing two (2) years. Mr. Oliver was nominated for President cf ^ Tl^y^r? ' ^^^ Board, on motion of Mr. Stuart seconded by Mr. Noel. Mr. Oliver
received four of the seven votes cast, Mr. Reynolds, nominated by , Mr. Isenbarger, receiving three vot?s. Mr. Oliver was declared elected.
Votes were then taken for Vice-President, Mr. Stuart being the only one nominated. Voting resulted as follows: Mr. Stuart, /l,?l/i./3u|wVLAa-l/<^4*' four votes, Mr. Reynolds, four votes, and Mr. Noel one vote,
Mr. Stuart then made a motion that Mr. Reynolds be declared unani¬ mously elected, which was approved by the Board, Mr. Reynolds becoming ^^^^^ cyn^ 5v-n.«^,U.^--^ Vice-President. James M. Fowler was elected Treasurer and B. A. Blls- cv.fl. &?JU.u.>,rr*^ , .^z*^. worth Secretary of the Board.
The list of candidates for diplomas^ as approved by ^:a~^C..wa*^ President Stone and the Faculty, was presented, and on Mr Noel's ,^ l^^^^ I motion approved.
