Present, President Ratliff and Trustees Edgerton, Williams, Ragan, and Peddle—Also President White. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. The balance of the Evening was taken up in the reading by President White of his Annual Report to the Trustees, after which the Board adjourned to meet at Purdue University tomorrow morning at 9 O’clock. Tuesday December 12th, 1882 At University Pursuant to adjournment the Board met this morning at the President’s Room in the University. Present as yesterday. President White’s Annual Report, read to the Board last Evening, was then taken up, and after being fully considered, were approved in all its parts. President White reported a Claim submitted by Mrs. Weyher asking an allowance for services rendered the University by her late husband, Prof. Weyher, President Ratliff and Col. Williams were directed to confer with Mrs. Weyher and make report at the present meeting. On motion of Mr. Edgerton, the action of the Committee heretofore appointed, in employing W.C. Latta as Instructor in Agriculture and Horticulture at a salary of $1,200.00 per year was unanimously ratified. The employment of Mr. Fritz as Farm Superintendent on December 1st, 1882 at $600.00 per annum was also approved.
