The same were approved and ordered to be spread upon the minute-book. (See the same, following the minutes of this session.) On motion of Genl. Manson it was ordered that the bill of Dr. A.M. Moore of $25.00 for a plaster mould of the face of the late Hon. John Purdue, taken immediately after his death, be allowed, and the Secretary was directed to draw a warrant for its payment. It was further ordered that the mould be securely packed and boxed and placed in the custody of the Treasurer, to be kept on deposit in the fire-safe vault of The First National Bank of La Fayette. On motion of Mr. Sutherland it was ordered that the General Assembly be memorialised [memorialized] to pass a bill providing for the permanent funding of the moneys which may be collected from the estate of John Purdue deceased—the income thereof to be applied from year to year
