I_^ NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Fardue University convened in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building on the campus of Purdue Univer¬ sity, Lafayette, Indiana, on Saturday, June 15, 1942, at 10:00 A. M., pursu¬ ant to the follov/ing notice v/hich had been sent to each member of the Board by the Secretaiy on June 10, 1942:
President Ross has instructed me to notify you that there v/ill be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Pur^ due University on Saturday, June 15, 1942, convening at 10:00 A. M. in the Trustees' Room in the Executive Building of the University.
Among the miatters to be acted upon at this meeting is the ques¬ tion of arrangements for the administration of the University during the remainder of the v/ar,
II.  ROLL CiiLL.
The meeting v/as called to order at 10:00 A. M. by President Ross. On roll call the follov/ing Trustees ansv/ered present: Messrs, Hanley, Hillen¬ brand, Noel, Ross, Stuart, Sturm, and Thompson, constituting a majority and quorum of the Board. Communications received from Miss McHale and Colonel Wheeler indicated that they v/ere absent because of the demands made by the nation for their services.

Dr. Edward C. Elliott, President of the University, v/as also present.
III. EXECUTIVE SESSION.
At 10:05 A. M. the Board went into Executive Session.
The meeting v/as resumed at 11: 20 A, M.
Mr. R. B, Stev/art. Controller of the University, and Mr, Frank C Hockema, Secretary to the Board, entered the m.eeting at that tim.e.

After presentation and discussion of the request made by Governor Paul V. McNutt, Chairman of the national V/ar Man Power Commission, that the services of Dr. Edv/ard C.
