SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TRUSTEES
OF PURDUE UNIVERSITY
Executive Building September 11, 1951
I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in special meeting in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University at 2:00 p. m. .(DST) on Tuesday, September 11, 1951, pursuant to the following notice sent to each naenaber of the Board by the Secretary on September 5, 1951:
President Hanley has asked me to notify you that there will be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University on Tuesday, September 11, 1951, convening at 2:00 p.m., DST, inthe Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University in order to:
1. Consider plans to purchase Mid-West Airlines, and to
2. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which may come before said meeting.
II. ROLL CALL.
President Hanley called the meeting to order at 2:00 p. m. All naembers of the Board were present as follows: Mrs. Van Ness, Messrs. Anderson, Branigin, Hanley, Kettler, Lynn, O'Brien, Thompson and Wilson. Also present were President Hovde, Treasurer Stewart, Conaptroller Kettler, Secretary Hockema and Assistant Secretary Skinner.
III. PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICATE OF APPOINTMENT OF MR. EDWARD D. ANDERSON.
Mr. Edward D. Anderson presented his certificate of appointnaent by the Governor to the Board of Trustees of Purdue University, effective July 1, 1951, for a period of three years or until his successor is appointed and qualified.
Mr. Anderson had been duly qualified by subscribing to his oath of office.
IV. PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICATE OF REAPPOINTMENT OF MR. WILLIAM A. iHANLEY.
Mr. William A. Hanley presented his certificate of reappointment by the Governor to the Board of Trustees of Purdue University, effective July 1. 1951, for a period of three years or until his successor is appointed and qualified.
Mr. Hanley had been duly qualified by subscribing to his oath of office.
