STATED MEETING OF THE_BPARD_PF TRUSTEES OF THE TRUSTEES OF
PURDUE UNIVERSITY Executive Building
I.    NOTICE OF MEETING.
May 29,   1954
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in stated meeting in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of Purdue Uni¬ versity at 10:40 a.m.  on Saturday,  Ivlay 29,   1954,  pursuant to Minute XLII, April 21,   1954, and further pursuant to the following notice sent to each mem¬ ber of the Board by the Secretary on May 6,   1954:
In accordance with the provisions of the By-Laws, there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University on Saturday, May 29.   1954,  convening at 9:30 a.m.  CST (10:30 a.m. CDT), in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University in order to:
1. Receive, open,  consider and act upon bids for:
a. Foundations for Union-Hall of Music Annex.
b. AdcUtion to Purdue-Marott Agricultural Center, c    New Campus Drive at Oval,
d.    Student Memorial Union Courts and Student Union "B" Court? and
2. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which may
come before said meeting.
II. ROLL CALL.
President Hanley called the meeting to order at 10:40 a.m.   All members of the Board except two were present as follows:   Mrs.  Crooks.  Messrs. Anderson, Hanley. Kettler,  Lynn,  Thompson and Wilson.    By consent the ab¬ sences of Mr.  Branigin and Mr.  Teetor were excused.   Also present were President Hovde,  Treasurer Stewart, Assistant Treasurer Kettler,  Comptroller Freehafer, Secretary Hockema and Assistant Secretary Skinner.
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF INVESTMENT AND FINANCE COM¬ MITTEE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, HELD APRIL 21,   1954.
President Hanley presented the following minutes of the meeting of the In¬ vestment and Finance Committee of theBoard of Trustees held April 21,   1954:
The Investment and Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue Uniyersity met in regular session Wednesday, April 21,   1954, at 4:46 P.M.  in the Trustees Room of the Executive Building on the campus of Purdue University in West Lafayette,  Indiana.
Those present were William A.  Hanley,  Frederick L.  Hovde,  Charles J.  Lynn,  E.  D. Anderson and R.  B.  Stewart.    Roscoe Seybold also attended. Mr.  Hanley acted as Chairman and Mr.  Stewart as Secretary of the meeting.
