I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in special meeting in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of Purdue Uni¬ versity at 9:30 a. m.  CST (10:30 a.m.  CDT) on Wednesday,  September 15,   1954, pursuant to Minute XXXVIII,  June 30,   1954, and further pursuant to the following notice sent to each member of the Board by the Secretary on August 25,   1954:
In accordance with the action of the Board of Trustees at the meeting held June 30,   1954,  there will be a special meeting of the  Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University on Wednesday, September 15,   1954,  convening at 9:30 a.m.  CST (10:30    .     .   CDT) in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University in order to:
1. Receive,  open,   consider and act upon bids for:
a. Home Econonaics Building
b. Poultry Buildings; and
2, Consider and act upon any other matter or business which
may conae before said naeeting,
II. ROLL CALL.
President Hanley called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. (10:30 a.m.  CDT). All naembers of the Board were present.    Also present were President Hovde, Treasurer Stewart, Assistant Treasurer Kettler, Assistant Business Manager and Comptroller Freehafer, Secretary Hockema and Assistant Secretary Skinner.
m.    PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICATE OF REAPPOINTMENT OF MR. WILLIAM A.  HANLEY.
Mr. William A. Hanley presented his certificate of appointnaent by the Governor to the Board of Trustees of Purdue University, effective July 1,   1954, for a period of three years or until his successor is appointed and qualified.
Mr.  Hanley had been duly qualified by subscribing to his oath of office.
IV. PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICATE OF REAPPOINTMENT OF MR. EDWARD D. ANDERSON.
Mr.  Edward D. Anderson presented his certificate of appointment ty the Governor to the Board of Trustees of Purdue University,  effective July 1,   1954, for a period of three years or until his successor is appointed and qualified.
Mr. Anderson had been duly qualified by subscribing to his oath of office.
V. PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICATE OF REAPPOINTMENT OF MR. CHARLES J.   LYNN.
Mr.  Charles J.  Lynn presented his certificate of appointment by the Governor to the Board of Trustees of Purdue University, effective July 1,  1954, for a period of three years or until his successor is appointed and qualified.
