Ii_   The Board of Tmstees of Purdue University assembled in the office of the President of the University in Eliza Fowler Hall at 10:00 A. M., Saturday, l'£ty  12, 1954, pursuant to the call of the President and the ad¬ journment of the adjourned meeting of April 25, 1954, of the stated meeting of April 18, 1954, and pursuant to the fonowing notice and motion for ad¬ journment contained therein:
"I am instructed to notify you that the Board of Tmstees is called to meet at 10:00 A. M. on Saturday, May 12, 1934, in ac¬ cordance with the adjournment of the meeting of the Board of Trustees held on April 25, 1934 as contained in the fonowing mo¬ tion:
"'6Ir. Edgerton moved that the Board adjourn to meet at the call of the President for action upon the loan agreement with the ¦ Public Works Administration, the handling of the bond issue, and any other matters in connection with the proposed women's resi¬ dence hall, or other items which might be presented. The motion was carried unanimously.'
"This will confirm notice alrea^ given you by telephone from the office of President Elliott,

It appearing that there was not a quorum present, Mr. Edgerton moved
that a recess be taken until 4:00 P. M. The motion was carried.
At 4:00 P, M. on May 12, 1934, the Board ast^embled in accordance with
the recess taken at 10:00 A, M, on the same day.
There were present: Mrs. Meredith, Messrs Edgerton, Hall, Lilly, Noel,
Simpson, President Ross, and the President of the University.
President Elliott stated that Mr. Kimbrough was absent from the state
and therefore unable to attend the meeting, and presented a letter from
Mr. Hillenbrand, expressing his regret that it was impossible for him to be
