477 STATED MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TRUSTEES OF
PURDUE UNIVERSITY

L NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in stated meeting in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of Purdue Uni¬ versity at 9:40 a. m. on Wednesday, April 21, 1954, pursuant to the following notice sent to each member of the Board by the Secretary on April 5, 1964:
In accordance with the provisions of the By-Laws, there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees,of Purdue University on Wednesday, April 21, 1954, convening at 9:30 a.m. in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University, in order to:
1. Consider and act upon the budgets of the University, the Agricultural Experiment Station, the Agricultural Extension Service, and the SeU-Supporting Enterprises for the year 1964-1966;
2. Consider and act upon any other fiscal problems related to
the budget;
3. Receive, open, consider and act upon bids for:
a. Addition to the Biology Annex BuilcUng; and
4. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which
may come before said meeting.
n. ROLL CALL.
President Hanley called the meeting to order at 9:40 a.m. AU members of the Board except one were present as follows: Mrs. Crooks, Messrs. Anderson, Branigin, Hanley, Kettler, Lynn, Thompson and Wilson. The absence of Mr. Teetor was excused by consent of the Board. Also present wee President Hovde, Treasurer Stewart, Assistant Treasurer Kettler, Comptroller Freehafer, Secre¬ tary Hockema and Assistant Secretary Skinner.
in. LETTER OF ACKNOWLEDGMENT.
Secretary Hockema presented a letter from Mr. Claude E. Crooks acknowl¬ edging flowers sent to him by the Trustees and Officers of the Uniyersity at the time of his recent automobile accident.
By consent the letter of ^.cknowledgment -was received and ordered filed.
IV. MR. J. RALPH THOMPSON RE-ELECTED DIRECTOR OF PURDUE RESEARCH FOUNDATION.
Secretary Hockema reported that the term of Mr. J. Ralph Thompson as Director of the Purdue Research Foundation representing the Board of Trustees expires in 1954.
