STATED MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TRUSTEES OF
PURDUE UNIVERSITY
Executive Building April 17-18, 1957
I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in stated meeting in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of Purdue Uni¬ versity at 9:40 a.na. CST on Wednesday, April 17, 1967, pursuant to the fol¬ lowing notice sent to each Trustee by the Secretary on March 28, 1957:
In accordance -with the provisions of the By-Laws, there -wiU be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University on Wednesday and Thursday, April 17-18, 1957, convening at 9:30 a.m. CST on Wednesday, April 17, 1957, in the Trustees' Room of the Execu¬ tive Building of the University, in order to:
1. Receive, open, consider and act upon bids for the following
projects:
a) Replacement and Extension of Campus Water Mains -
March, 1957,
b) Reconstruction of State Street and Adjacent Campus Areas,
c) Extension of Stadium Avenue and Construction of Drives, Parking Areas, and Sidewalks in "H" Area,
d) Air Conditioning and Alterations - Purdue Memorial
Union Building, a Union-HaU of Music Annex Project; and
2. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which
may come before said meeting.
n. ROLL CALL.
President Hanley caUed the meeting to order at 9:30 a. na. AU members of the Board except one were present as follows: Mrs. Brayton, Messrs. Bannon, Hanley, Kettler, Lynn, McAllister, Moore and Thompson. The absence of Mr. DeLaurier was excused by consent of the Board. Also present were President Hovde, Treasurer Stewart, Assistant Treasurer Freehafer, Executive Dean Mallett, Counsel SchiUing, Assistant Business Manager Gabbard, Acting Assistant Secretary Lowe, Professor Hicks, Mrs. Pereida, and Secretary Skinner.
m. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF OCTOBER 17-18, 1956, MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES.
The Secretary reported that a copy of the minutes of the stated annual meeting of the Boadof Trustees held October 17-18, 1956, had been sent to each Trustee, and that the only suggestion received was that from Mr. Kettler,
