STATED MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TRUSTEES OF
PURDUE UNIVERSITY
Executive Building May 31, 1958
I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in stated meeting in the Trustees' Room of the Executive BvrilcUng of the Uni¬ versity at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 1958, pursuant to the following notice sent to each naemb^r of the Board by the Secretary on May 8, 1958:
In accordance with the provisions of the By-Laws, there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University on Saturday, May 31, 1958, conveiring at 11:30 a.m, CDT, in the Trustees' Room of the Executive BvrilcUng of the University in order to:
1. Receive, open, consider and act upon bids for:
a) Outdoor Tennis Courts and Skating Rink - Recreatipnal Gymnasium
b) Water Distribution Mains, Pumping Station No, 3
c) 2400-Volt Circuit for Mechanical, Electrical and Nuclear Engineering BuilcUngs
d) Reconstruction of Northwestern Avenue Mall;
2, Consider and act upon any other matter or business which may come before said meeting,
II. ROLL CALL.
In the absence of President Hanley Vice President Thompson caUed the meeting to order at 11:30 a.m. All members of the Board except one were present as follows: Mrs. Brayton, Messrs. Bannon, DeLaurier, Kettler, Lynn, McAllister, Moore and .Thompson, The absence of Mr. Hanley was excused by consent of the Board. Also present were President Hovde, Treasurer Stewart, Assistant Treasurer Freehafer, Covmsel Schilling, Executive Dean Mallett, Assistant Business Manager Gabbard, Assistant Pereida and Secretary Skinner, Mr, T. R, Johnston, Bureau of Information,
ji and Mr, D, F, Finn, Purchasing Agent, were also in attendance,

jlSr., and Walter Scholer, Jr., architects, Messrs. Abbett, Hamilton and
