I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
January 16-: 17, 1967
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue Uniyersity convened in stated meeting in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of Purdue Uni¬ yersity at 9:35 a.m. on Wednesday, Janviary 16, 1957, pursuant to the following notice, sent to each Trustee by the Secretary on December 28, 1966:
In accordance with the provisions of the By-Laws, there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue Uniyersity on Wednesday and Thursday, January 16 and 17, 1957, convening at 9:30 a.m. CST on Wednesday, January 16, 1967, in the Trustees' Room of the Executive BuilcUng of the University in order to consider and act upon any matter or business which may come before said meeting.
II. ROLL CALL.
President Hanley called the meeting to order at 9:35 a.m. All members of the Board were present as follows: Mrs. Brayton, Messrs. Bannon, DeLaurier, Hanley, Kettler, Lynn, McAllister, Moore and Thompson. Also present were President Hovde, Vice President and Treasurer Stewart, Assistant Treasurer and Business Manager Freehafer, Executive Dean Mallett, Legal Counsel Schilling, Assistant Business Manager Gabbard, Acting Assistant Secretary Lowe, and Secretary Skinner. At this time Mr. T. R. Johnston, Director of the Bureau of Information, and Mr. Don Reeder of the Lafayette Journal-C ourier entered the meeting.
III. CERTIFICATE OF APPOINTMENT OF MR. DOXIE MOORE.
President Hanley reported receipt of notification of the Certificate of 1 Appointment, by the Governor, of Mr. Doxie Moore of Indianapolis, Indiana, [ to the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University, effective
January 12, 1967, for the term encUng July 1, .1959, or until his successor
is appointed and qvialified.
Mr. Moore had been duly quaUfied by subscribing to his oath of office, and a copy of the signed oath had been filed with the Secretary.
Mr. Hanley greeted Mr. Moore on behaU of the Board.
