ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUST^ES^.OIlTHE^R^USTEES _
OF PURDUE UNIVERSITY
Executive Building October 24-25, 1957
I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University at 10:35 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, 1957, pursuant to the adjournment of the morning of October 16, 1957, and further pursuant to the following notice sent to each member of the Board by the Secretary on October 16, 1957:
Pursuant to adjournment of the Annual Meeting of the Board of Trustees on October 16, 1957, there will be an adjourned meeting of the Annual Meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University on Thursday and Friday, October 24-25, 1957, convening at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, 1957, in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University in order to:
1. Elect officers of the Board for the 1957-1959 bienniuna;
2. Receive, open, consider and act upon bids for the following construction projects:
a) Conapletion of the New Home Economics Building
b) Food Service Building;
3. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which may come before said meeting.
II. ROLL CALL.
President Hanley called the meeting to order at 10:35 a.m. All members of the Board except one were present as follows: Mrs. Brayton, Messrs. Bannon, DeLaurier, Hanley, Kettler, Lynn, McAllister emd Moore. The absence of Mr. Thompson was excused by consent of the Board.
Also present were President Hovde, Vice President and Treasurer Stewart, Assistant Treasurer and Business Manager Freehafer, Assistant Business Manager Gabbard, Counsel Schilling, Executive Dean Mallett, Professor Hicks, Acting Assistant Secretary Lowe, Mrs. Pereida, Assistant, and Secretary Skinner. Others present included Mr. T. R. Johnston of the Bureau of Information and Messrs. Argenbright and CrandaU representing the Lafayette Journal and Courier.
