L    NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in special meeting in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of Purdue University at 11:00 a.m.  on Wednesday,   July 25,   1962,  pursuant to action of the Board of Trustees on April 18,   1962,   and on June 2,   1962,  and further pursuant to the following notice sent to each member of the Board by the Secretary on July 2,   1962:
In accordance with action by the Board of Trustees on Jtme 2,   1962, there will be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University on Wednesday,   July 25,   1962,   convening at 11:00 a. na.   CDT tn the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the Uni¬ versity,   in order to:
1. Consider and act upon bids for the following construction
projects:
a. Extension of Parking Lot A - 1962
b. Extension of South Russell Drive and Parking Area - 1962
c. Magnet Facility - F. W. A.   #5 - Phase H;
2. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which may
come before said meeting.
n.    ROLL CALL.
President Hanley called the meeting to order at 11:00 a.m.    All members of the Board except three were present as follows:   Mrs.   Vogler, Messrs.  Hanley,   Rumely,  Schenck,   Thompson and Wilson.    The absences of Messrs.   Branigin,   Creighton and Kettler were excused by consent.    Also present were President Hovde,   Vice President and Treasurer Freehafer, University Vice Presidents Chenea,   Mallett and Young,  Executive Assistant to the President Hicks,   Legal Assistant Lowe,  Assistant Treasurer Finn, Assistant Morris and Secretary Skiimer.    Miss Mary Rosenthal and Mr. Frank Arganbright of the Lafayette Journal and Courier and Mr.  Howard Gillespie of the Bureau of Information were also in attendance.    Entering the meeting at this time were Mr.   Walter Scholer,   Sr.,  architect,   and staff members Abbett and Hamilton.
