ADJOURNED I-IEETING OF THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TRUSTEES
OF PURDUE UNIVERSITY Executive Building October 24-25, 1947
jU. NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in adjourned session of the regular annual meeting of October 15-16, 1947, at 9:30 a.m., Friday, October 24, 1947, in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University, pursuant to the call of the President of the Board and further pursuant to the fol¬ lowing notice sent to each member of the Board by the Secretary on October 15, 1947:
President Stuart has instructed me to notify you that there will be an adjourned meeting of the regtilar annual meeting of October 15-16, 1947, of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University on Friday and Saturday, October 24-25, 1947, convening at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 1947, in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University, in order to consider and act upon any matter or business that may come before said meeting.
II. ROLL CALL.
President Stuart called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. All members of the Board of Trustees were present as follows: Mrs. Van Ness, Messrs. Calland, Cole, Hanley, Lynn, O'Brien, Sherwood, Stuart and Thompson, Also present were President Hovde, Controller Stewart, Secretary Hockema, and Assistant Secretary Skinner.
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY ^j_ 1947.
The Secretary reported that the minutes of the special meeting of the Board held May 29, 1947, had been sent to each Trustee, and that no suggestions or cor¬ rections had been received from any of the Trustees.
After discussion and upon motion (Lynn-Cole) unanimously c arried, the minutes of the Board meeting held May 29, 1947, were approved,
IV. APPROVAL OF ICNUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 14^. 1947.
The Secretary reported that the minutes of the stated meeting of the Board held June 14, 1947, had been sent to each Tmstee, and that no suggestions or corrections had been received from any of the Trustees.
After discussion and upon motion (Cole-Hanley) unanimously carried, the minutes of the Board meeting held June 14, 1947, were approved.
Vj. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 19. 1947.
The Secretary reported that the minutes of the special meeting of the Board held July 19, 1947, had been sent to each Trustee, and that only one suggestion had been received from any of the Trustees, a suggestion from Mr. Sherwood conceming the extent of detail to be included in the minutes.
After discussion and upon motion (Lynn-Cole) unanimously carried, the minutes of the Board meeting held July 19, 1947, were approved.
