Ii NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of Purdue University at 10:10 a.m., Saturday, July 19, 1947, pursuant to the following notice sent to each member of the Board by the Secretary on July 2, 1947:
President Stuart has instructed me to notify you that there will be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of ^e l^rustees of Purdue .University on Saturday, July 19, 1947, convening at 10:00 a.m. (DST) in the Trustees' Room of the Ebcecutive Building of the University, in order to:
1. Consider and act upon bids for the following:
a. Dairy ^arm Buildings
b. Poultry ^arm Structures
c. Alterations to Agricultural Hall Annex
d. Storm Sewer through Ross-Ade Stadium Property
e. Electrical work for new ^urbo-Generator and
other equiiment. Heating and Power Plant
f. Piping and pipe covering and other equipment.

g. Installation of ^i^ird Street water mains h. Two deep wells and pumpsj
2. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which may come before said meeting.
II. POLL CALL.
President Stuart called the meeting to order at 10:10 a.m. The fc^oring Trustees were present: Mrs. Van Ness, Messrs. Calland, Cole, Hanley, Lynn, O'Brien, Sherwood, Stuart and Thompson, constituting a majority and quorum. Also present were President Hovde, Controller Stewart, and Assistant Secretary Skinner.
III. PRES12JTATI0N OF CERTIFICATE OF APPOINTMENT OF m^ J^ W^. CALLAND.
Mr. J, W. Calland presented his certificate of appointment hy the Govemor to the Board of Trustees of Purdue University, effective July 1, 1947, for a period of three years or until his successor is appointed and qualified.
Mr. Calland had been duly qualified ty subscribing to his oath of office.
IV. PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICATE OF REAPPOINTMENT OF MR. CORNELIUS O'BRIEN.
Mr. Cornelius O'Brien presented his certificate of reappointment ly the Govemor to the Board of Trustees of Purdue University, effective July 1, 1947, for a period of three years or until his successor is appointed and qualified.
Mr. O'Brien had been duly qualified by subscribing to his oath of office.
