The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of Purdue University at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 14, 1947, purstiant to the following notice sent tx> each member of the Board ly the Secretary on May 21, 1947:
In accordance rith the prorisions of the ^y-Laws, there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue Uni¬ versity on Saturday, June 14, 1947, convening at 2:00 p.m. (DST) in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University, in order to consider and act upon ai^ matter or business that may ccmie before said meeting,        . .
II. SOIL CALL.
President Stuart called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. The following Trustees were present: Mrs. Van Ness, Messrs. O'Brien, Sherwood, Stuart, Thompson, and Wilson, constituting a majority and quorum. The absences of Messrs. Cole, Hanley, and Lynn, because of urgent business elsewhere, were excused by consent. Also present were President Hovde, Controller Stewart, Secretary Hockema and Assistant Secretary Skinner.
III. APPROVAL OF IgNUTES OF IffiETING HELD APRIL I6. 1947.
The Secretiary reported that the minutes of the stated meeting of the Board held April 16, 1947, had been sent to each Trustee, and that no suggestions or cor¬ rections had been received from any of the Trustees.
After discussion and by consent the minutes of the Board meeting held April 16, 1947, were approved.
IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF IffiETING HELD MAY 15. 1947. AS AMENDED.
The Secretary reported that the minutes of the special meeting of the Board held May 15, 1947, had been sent to each Trustee, and that no suggestions or cor¬ rections had been received from any of the Trustees. President Hovde recommended that increases in Technical Extension fees approved to be "effective rith the 1947 summer term registration" (Minute XXII) be made "effective rith the 1947 fall term registration," in order to conform rith Veterans Administration contract.
After discussion and by consent the minutes of the Board meeting held May 15, 1947, were approved as amended.

President Hovde presented a letter from Mrs. Sturm acknowledging receipt of a copy of the Memorial Resolution to Mr. Sturm, adopted ty the Board April 16, 194' (Minute V) ,
By consent the letter was received and ordered filed by the Secretary.
